Invitation to Become a Candidate for the Board of Directors

The WVA, on behalf of the Nominations and Elections Committee, announces the opening of nominations for the anticipated three openings on the Board of Directors with three-year terms beginning next April.  We are seeking homeowners in Waikoloa Village, members of the WVA who are in good standing and current in their annual dues, with no outstanding fines. 

The candidate shall have sat and participated on any WVA committee or have attended at least two (2) board meetings in this past year.  The candidates should also bring a genuine interest in the community with a general awareness of what the WVA’s general responsibilities are.  General Manager Roger Wehrsig will be pleased to share some time with prospective candidates. 

Should you have an interest in becoming a candidate for the WVA Board of Directors, please submit a 100-word statement of candidacy including your name, residential address, email, and phone number to the Nominations and Elections Chair, c/o WVA.  The statement should indicate why you want to be on the Board and the qualifications you bring.  Note that word combinations, titles & proper nouns count as one word (e.g., Waikoloa Village Association).
